Big group of us stayed in this hotel and everyone’s rooms were either smelly or very smoky smoking rooms. The carpets have definitely seen better days, the free breakfast was skipped by many because there was nothing appealing, and the service was ok until the last day when a few of us realized that we’d been misinformed by one of the staff members regarding some free access tickets to use the hotel wifi. This would normally not have been a big turnoff but the front desk staff (including a manager) then proceeded to argue with those of us who were not happy about being told we’d have to pay for a service we thought was free.
This last day made the overall experience more unpleasant and I was happy I was going to be checking out that same day so I hastened to pack up and get out. There are lots of cafes with free wifi to lure customers into their businesses in the Glyfada area so if you end up visiting the area it’s best to do a walkabout and pop in somewhere for a coffee (or an afternoon!) rather than pay for slow internet access if your hotel doesn’t offer it for free.

Its amazing how times change. Travellers expect more these days than free soap/perfume. Though wifi can be very expensive in cheap hotels in UK. Pubs are now luring the smoker/stay away customer with free wifi.
