Petřín Hill is a green park that’s great for letting the kids run around, or just for taking some quiet time out from the business of downtown Prague.
The park is on a hill and there are paths, but there’s also a funicular that stops halfway up and at the top. At the summit is the Petřín Tower, a 5:1 model of the Eiffel Tower. There’s also a maze and an observatory. It’s not unusual to find concerts taking place in the lower parts of the hill.
Can get busy on the weekends, and so it might require strolling to the farther corners to find a peaceful spot.
